UConn football kept it close but could not get any closer than seven points as the Syracuse Orange quickly scored a touchdown on the game’s first drive and had Jim Mora’s squad playing from behind the rest of the way. The lead grew to as much as two touchdowns in the second quarter.
The Husky defense gave them a chance with some stops in the third quarter but the Orange had too much offensive firepower and UConn’s offense was not doing much. The lead got back to two TDs in the fourth before the Huskies mounted a late drive for a touchdown. They attempted an onside kick after scoring with 1:39 left to cut the lead to seven but didn’t recover.
Aman and Graham discuss the Syracuse result and the state of the 7-4 UConn Huskies heading into the season finale at UMass.
